In this inspirational keynote we are going to explore the realms of “Why we do what we do.”
What it is that drives us to continue to do what we do and ask those tough questions as to why we are doing it or “Why aren’t we doing it.”
What are the obstacles and barriers that prevent us from fulfilling our purpose: “What we want to do.”

Learning Experiences

Playing with Pedagogy: Pop Up Paint Lab Studio with Tanya Andrejas & Laura Salau
Participants will be invited to explore through critical reflection their unique creative identities and how it relates to others.
Participants may explore collaborative and collective inquiry through a lens of pedagogical complexity and tensions that may arise.
Participants will explore potential juxtapositions of possibilities and boundaries as they relate to our practice.

The Spaces Between Light, Shadow, Creativity, and Imagination with Rosalba Bortolotti
Explore light and shadow can guide children through developing and collaborating critical thinking skills and to understand the science of light.
Learn more about how the benefits of light and shadow engage children in imaginative, creative, and play-based learning.

Schema Play and Thinking with Loose Parts with Cindy Green
Engage in a playful co-learning experience with colleagues, positioning them to reflect on their level of play comfort.
Engage in collaborative discourse, thinking about schema play preferences and the benefits of open-ended materials in all early learning environments.
Participants will reflect on schema play and thinking when program planning further curriculum invitations.

DROM (drum + OM) with Val Shah
Get ready to move and have fun in this engaging workshop where age or ability does not matter.
Have fun and experience the transformative power of movement and mindfulness.
Increase energy, flip your mindset and alleviate stress and anxiety.
